CLASS:
Stars Over St. Louis – This full day workshop will focus on
an eight-point star that
has so many design possibilities. We will us
mirrors to create a kaleidoscope effect and sew the center
medallion of a miniature quilt. We will learn
how to make perfect ‘Y’ seams and a pieced border without
templates.
Class
cost: $40 with a $30 kit fee that includes pattern, "Magic Missors"
and acrylic templates.
SATURDAY
CLASS: Curves
without the Fuss – Make this antique looking two-color quilt
without having to sew curves. You will learn
how to make and use templates for the center of
the block and machine appliqué the circle onto
a pieced background. Then border and setting
triangles will be added. Having a machine with
a blind hem stitch or a simple decorative stitch
is recommended.
Class cost: $40 with $9 kit
fee that includes pattern.
